Hi, I'm Mike — a photographer and storyteller based in Malta.
My photography journey started back in 2018 when I picked up my first camera as a break from my university studies. While I haven't been shooting seriously for long, I've dabbled across an assortment of gigs, always chasing the stories that unfold through the lens.
I don't tie myself to one style of photography. Whether it’s action-packed sports, still-life product shots, vibrant street scenes, or intimate portraits, I’m drawn to the stories behind the image more than the genre itself. At the heart of everything I shoot is the desire to tell something true.
My style leans toward a natural, authentic feel. I’m not a fan of heavy post-processing — I prefer letting the real moments speak for themselves. When you look at my work, I want you to feel a connection, a sense of being part of that moment.
Outside of photography, I’m a coffee enthusiast, a lover of rock music, and a movie buff. I also hold a Master’s degree in Biodiversity Conservation, and my passion for understanding the natural world often finds its way into the way I see through the lens.
